Musical Education: Is it Really Worth it? (Part 1)

I’m going to make this short, since I could probably discuss this topic for quite a long time. 🙂 So here’s the question: Is musical education really as worth it as some people make it out to be?I mean, look at all those natural prodigies out there that were amazing before a teacher ever touched them. If we can just find their little secret, we’ll be good to go, RIGHT?? UM…….. yes!… if you’re a prodigy. Okay, you get my line of thought.

Don’t think though, that you ‘re hopeless without a teacher. Never will I endorse that thought. I have now played piano for about 11 years. I was finally able to spill out all that I had been feeling for the past months. It was so good. Continue reading “The Day I Finally Gave Up”

We all come up against temptation in our lives. It has happened so many times for me personally, that I don’t even want to start trying to count them all. Continue reading “Resisting the Devil”
