Which was the best day of my life? Easter. Yes, Easter of this very year. You can read why here. Actually, that post was written the day before, so I’ll explain a bit more. The reason Easter was so special, was because I had finally given everything up to God and learned who He really is. I could finally celebrate his resurrection with energy and zeal. No pangs from a guilty conscience.
The reason of Easter finally meant all the world to me!
Seeing the sun rise on that glorious morning was such an amazing experience. I had never known such a joyful peace and passion for what lay ahead in life. Truly, I’ve found that with Jesus, anything is possible. Literally.
As the sun rose, it seemed to become the shape of a human. I’m so happy to have a picture of it. It was as if it was Jesus; rising gloriously as the morning sun, triumphing over sin and death.
A little bit later, a tiny rainbow appeared off to the side. I felt so strongly that is was a reminder of the promise of salvation.
Caught glistening in the morning sunlight.
After a delicious lunch at a park, we headed into DC to visit flowers. 😉
I just had to have my picture taken at this spot. It’s almost the exact place my mom took a picture of me about eight years ago, just from a different angle. It’s not the best picture ever taken of me, but that wasn’t the point anyway.
(Below: Eight years old, eight years ago. 🙂 )
Back to this year… 🙂
