Quote of the Week | #2

Inspirational Quote of the Week

I’d dare say that the implications of this week’s quote comes a little closer to home than some of us would admit, because most of us are procrastinators! 🙂 Putting off until tomorrow what can and should be done today, is a bad end to the day and gives a surprisingly (if I may even use that word!) limp boost to tomorrow. You know what I’m talking about – just do it!

  1. Melody, you sound like your Grandma Horst. One of her mottoes was “Do it Now”. In general that is a very good motto. However, it is important to also be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s direction. There have been many times in my life where intellectually I knew that I should do something right away, but I felt a sense from the Holy Spirit to wait. I waited (many would have called it procrastination) and it turned out that waiting was the best thing I could have done because it was God’s timing. One of my favorite quotes is: “He who waits on God wastes no time”.

  2. It’s funny, Dad, that you mentioned Grandma. I was just thinking of the quote she had hanging up:

    “Do it now.
    “Today will be yesterday tomorrow.”

That has stuck with me for years.

  3. Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your site.

You have some really great posts and I think I would be a good asset.
If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really
like to write some material for your blog in exchange
for a link back to mine. Please shoot me an email if
    interested. Thanks!
