Today’s post is going to rather lengthy as we have five songs. And I’m pretty excited about them! I know this is a month of my favorite worship music, so each day previous were favorites, but today is some of my favorites of favorites. 😀
Excited too? Keep scrolling down!

I’m excited for fall to officially begin this year. Generally I dread the coming winter and dislike the disappearance of green foliage and pretty flowers. Last year, I didn’t put up fall decorations until just before thanksgiving. And when I finally did, I wasn’t very happy with the style. This year, thanks to my new found love for Pinterest and the Dollar Store, I had my decorations bought by the middle of August and placed around the house by the beginning of September.
My brothers claim that fall has NOT started yet (read: why on earth did I already decorate?). So my question for y’all today is, when does autumn start for you? After Labor Day? Halloween? I’m curious!

Ahhh… You guys have no idea how good it feels to be caught up again! I keep realizing that I can’t make too many promises (which I’m famous for doing… ). This month has been crazy, yet so packed full with experiences that I’m so thankful for. A new job, working on my own car with deadlines, vacation with the sister, and of course, just everyday life. And the month’s not over yet!
I’m so excited about today’s song. I recently nominated it as my theme song for my current . The song that I can listen to and be inspired every time.

Song #19: “ Jesus Saves” – Jeremy Camp
After starting my new job in dining at a retirement community two weeks ago, I’ve begun to realize just how much a cheery smile brightens someone’s day. “Let your smile change the world”, is something I’ve believed for a long time. But I’ve gotten to test it out. Seeing those people every day can get boring if I’d want it to. Living there, probably gets boring too. Giving an extra dose of kindness and cheer makes a noticeable difference in their moods. Old people aren’t the only ones like that! Do you see certain people every day or at least fairly often? Maybe a grouchy or irritating customer? A hard to work with coworker? You might be the only smile they see.

Your encouraging thought for the day:
The phrase“do not be afraid” is written 365 times in the Bible. That’s a daily reminder from God to live every day being fearless.

Hey y’all! I know that expression sounds pretty southern, but I’m really in the country/southern mood today. Not ashamed to say I’m a born and raised farm girl and country girl for life! Guess I have to switch gears from country music for a minute cause none of these songs really fit in that genre. 😀 Hey, it’s a good thing to like multiple styles – can’t get too stuck in the mud! (sorry, just had to throw that in there 😉 )
Since today is another catch-up day, I’m sharing three songs again! Live your day right with hope, courage, and the knowledge that you are LOVED!

I had day six written and ready to post… and my internet connection failed. And then I headed off to my new job to start a few mildly stressful yet fun days of training. Now I’m relaxing at the beach and have the time and resources to connect again and (hopefully) make up for the lost time. Or maybe I should say I’m holed up in an under-lit, outdated hotel room while the wind howls and blows a cold drizzle outside ( #reality ). I hope your mornings haven’t been too mundane without me. 😉
I wrote that yesterday. 😀 So this morning, I decided to get up and be productive. With my amazing sister helping me, I came up with a strategy to overcome the overwhelming feelings of life. She’s pretty great!
I figured out my power word, sentence, verse, and song. Basically, I now have a few things to read and think about that I know will always inspire me beyond just the next few seconds. I’ll probably make all that into a completely different post, but I thought I’d make a note for now… 🙂
So let’s pick up where we left off. I’m planning to post several songs a day so that y’all won’t have to miss any of the amazing ones I’ve picked out.
Your encouraging thought for the day:
“No matter what you’ve gone through, no matter what you’re going to go through, Jesus is always strong enough.”

Here’s an encouraging thought for your Wednesday:
“I am completely unafraid of the unknown, because nothing is unknown to my Father!”

Here’s an encouraging thought for your day: (even though I’m sure you’ve heard it “too many” times before – hey, it’s timeless! 😉 )
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
~ Philippians 3:14 ~
We’re going praise and worship style with our fourth song. It’s calm compared to what a lot of this month’s music will be, but it has such a subtle underlying passion and energy that I absolutely love.

Good morning and happy Labor Day!
We all acquire a morning routine or some sort of regular habits after a while, even if your mornings always seem to be a little too hectic. I’d like for you to imagine for a moment, a kind of morning that could become your favorite while still doing the most important things. Maybe making a healthy breakfast? Going for a brisk walk/run? Just giving yourself a little more time before you rush to work?
My favorite morning routine is grab a quick and healthy breakfast, a cup of coffee, and my bible and devotional journal, proceed to my favorite spot, turn on worship music, and spend some time with Jesus.
Afterwards, I’ll do my makeup, catch up on emails, social media, blog work, etc. Then head to work.
Not sure if you’ve noticed, but I like to encourage y’all to do something like that too (though I’ve only hinted at it previously 🙂 ). Not only is it a great thing to look forward to every morning, it also starts your day in the right place! And it can take anywhere from five – ten minutes to a whole entire hour. Whatever fits into your schedule the best and how much time you want to take for it – go for it! Make time for Jesus. I’m sorry, you don’t have any excuse!
BUT… today is Labor Day! Crazy that I’m talking about this when most of us have off… 🙂 Whatever. It applies whether you’re working or not!
Take one day at a time. Don’t mentally tackle a whole week (or month!) at one time. That’s too much for a normal human being to handle and chances are, it won’t go very well. I’ve personally tested that theory too many times! Enjoy your self. Enjoy your new morning. And definitely pause in your moment of life to enjoy it too!
