I’m getting pretty excited about the new mini course about Powerful Womanhood that is soon to be published. I personally really enjoy mini courses and have been greatly affected by them.
I want to share some things first. Kind of like an introduction or prelude (hence the title) to the Powerful Womanhood mini course.
The Worth Game
As a general rule, we women love our obsession of appearance. We love putting on cute clothes and makeup, and pretty hairstyles. We spend way more than our budget on new clothes and try out new diets and workouts to reach the “perfect” weight and body shape goals. That’s me too. If you enjoy my occasional Quote Up! posts, you’ll probably love these cute wallpapers. This collection includes six different wallpapers of varying styles compatible for both phones and desktops. They’re completely free and you can switch them up anytime you like! Best of all, they are specifically made to inspire, motivate, and empower you every time you see your screen – a reminder that you live LOVED!
What better way is there to keep a positive reminder close by?
I personally like changing my desktop wallpaper frequently to flow with my current mood. When words that are inspiring light up in front of your face, it can be so motivating! A nice little punch to your morning (or evening when you’re tired but still have work to do). Continue reading “Free Phone and Desktop Wallpapers | Living Loved Collection”
It’s time for another Quote Up! I love Thanksgiving so much. It is a time of year when everyone (hopefully) sets aside a little more time than normal to think about be grateful. It is also marks the beginning of the holiday season, which to me is one of the most beautiful times of the entire year.
So I’m hailing this new season with a few amazing quotes to inspire you every day! Take a moment to think about each of them. Skimming over something potentially mind changing is only a waste of time! 😉
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey
“Give thanks for each new morning with its light, for rest and shelter of the night, for health and food, for love and friends, for everything Thy goodness sends.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
“In happy moments, praise God. In difficult moments, seek God. In quiet moments, trust God. In every moment, thank God.” Continue reading “Quote Up! | Fall Edition”
I’m excited for fall to officially begin this year. Generally I dread the coming winter and dislike the disappearance of green foliage and pretty flowers. Last year, I didn’t put up fall decorations until just before thanksgiving. And when I finally did, I wasn’t very happy with the style. This year, thanks to my new found love for Pinterest and the Dollar Store, I had my decorations bought by the middle of August and placed around the house by the beginning of September.
My brothers claim that fall has NOT started yet (read: why on earth did I already decorate?). So my question for y’all today is, when does autumn start for you? After Labor Day? Halloween? I’m curious!

Ahhh… You guys have no idea how good it feels to be caught up again! I keep realizing that I can’t make too many promises (which I’m famous for doing… ). This month has been crazy, yet so packed full with experiences that I’m so thankful for. A new job, working on my own car with deadlines, vacation with the sister, and of course, just everyday life. And the month’s not over yet!
I’m so excited about today’s song. I recently nominated it as my theme song for my current . The song that I can listen to and be inspired every time.

Hey y’all! Summer is just almost here. Can you believe it? Ha ha, maybe it feels like it’s already been here for a while! 😉
I just love when it’s warm outside – so inspiring and amazing. Anyway, I wrote down a fun bucket list for this summer. I made it my own, but you can easily add more if you want to make it your own! Style like you.
There are a lot of super fun ideas as well as things that I’m completely serious need to get done! 😀 Such as, my office/desk area are so in need of help (hint: if y’all have any ideas for me, I would be sooo happy if you shared them with me). Continue reading “The Ultimate Summer Bucket List”
Who likes to live burned out and exhausted? Yeah, I didn’t think anyone did. 😉 Maybe you always feel the need to hurry or you can never get everything done. Sound familiar? Then these tips should help you out!
1. Wake Up Earlier
This has had an amazing impact on my own life. Having an extra half hour or hour in the morning will allow you to feel like you are in control your day rather than your day controlling you.
Make sure you are still getting seven to eight hours of sleep every night. You may need to adjust a little and go to bed earlier too (It isn’t as hard as you think!).
2. Take ten minutes to relax/reflect/pray
Put away your phone or computer or whatever your mind is on, and make the time to totally chill out for ten minutes. This is a great thing to do early in your morning. Refresh you mind and inner self, and you’ll find your brain and body much more inspired, refreshed, and equipped for the great day ahead. Hey ladies! It seems that we are always on the look out for quick easy ways to get trimmer and healthier. I’m not a feminist, but I do think that we tend towards eating healthy more than guys – just sayin’ 😉 (Let me clarify that I’m aware of the many male health and fitness gurus out there…) Whether you’re looking for a slimmer waist line, toned muscle, or having better overall health, hopefully these tips will help you out.
I don’t care what you stick in your mouth, if you are sitting around on your couch 24/7 you will have a very difficult time trying to slim down. Even light exercise will go a long way. Try taking a walk several times a week. If you’re ambitious, gradually transition into a short run at least 2-3x a week.
Other exercises are great and you can do many right in your own home with no equipment. Crunches, squats, and planks, are all ones that I love and definitely work for me. Listen to your body and figure out what works best for you (I think this will be a recurring theme in this post 😉 ). Create a simple routine and stick to it. Don’t build too high goals and expectations from the start or you will quickly burn out. Go slow and steady. Continue reading “Easy Ways to Improve Feminine Health”
It’s been quite a long while since I’ve given you an update about the book I’m writing, Journey to Love. You can read that post here! At the time I was fighting writer’s block and pretty much laid the book aside for a while. Recently, I have found renewed inspiration to complete the novel and get it where it’s supposed to go: into your hands. Part 1 is complete and Part 2 (definitely the longest!) is well under way.
Coming from upbringings of pain and rejection, Kirk and Julie discover a love that is far deeper than anything they ever imagined, and redemption far greater than they had ever wished for. They were good people, but God had called them to be great. Through the trial and testing of their relationship, they found forgiveness, love and freedom. The same freedom that sets sunsets on flame and turns the world upside; the powerful hand of God.
In anticipation of this book’s release (which is still months off), I am giving a glimpse and taste of what is coming.
It is (ah – will be) a great resource for teenagers and adults alike to rejoice in the beauty of life and be a fresh reminder of the most powerful force which is love – Jesus’ love! Continue reading “A Glimpse into My Novel: Journey to Love”
Somehow this fast approaching holiday (tomorrow!) is going to bring about roses, red and pink, hearts, and fuzzy feelings. It’s such an adorable time, and I’m even single. Yup, I’m not thinking about having a valentine just quite yet – I’m only seventeen, people!
I imagine there’s a lot more of you like me who are single or going to be alone on Valentine’s Day and not quite sure what to do. If this day is all about romance, and I don’t have any in my life, I may as well sit around and binge watch movies (and finish off a bag of those delectable BBQ chips in the cupboard!). While I might do that, I’d love to do something else and I’m sure you want to as well!
Don’t worry! I’ve scraped together a few ideas for you to do. Maybe, just maybe, this Valentine’s Day isn’t going to be so bad after all. In fact, it’s starting to get quite rosy. 🙂
#1 Pamper Yourself
Grab a few roses, light some candles, and run a bath of herbs or your favorite bubbles. Put a few rose petals on the water to add an extra romantic atmosphere. It’s not about the “love myself” trend, but a beautiful evening of beautiful relaxation. We need those moments, you need those moments! You’ll be pampered from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head. Continue reading “What to do on Valentine’s Day | Single’s Edition”
