Who likes to live burned out and exhausted? Yeah, I didn’t think anyone did. 😉 Maybe you always feel the need to hurry or you can never get everything done. Sound familiar? Then these tips should help you out!
1. Wake Up Earlier
This has had an amazing impact on my own life. Having an extra half hour or hour in the morning will allow you to feel like you are in control your day rather than your day controlling you.
Make sure you are still getting seven to eight hours of sleep every night. You may need to adjust a little and go to bed earlier too (It isn’t as hard as you think!).
2. Take ten minutes to relax/reflect/pray
Put away your phone or computer or whatever your mind is on, and make the time to totally chill out for ten minutes. This is a great thing to do early in your morning. Refresh you mind and inner self, and you’ll find your brain and body much more inspired, refreshed, and equipped for the great day ahead. Handwritten quotes are becoming so popular. There are so many on Pinterest that it’s almost dizzying! It’s no surprise as they are so cute as wall decor, in bullet journals, phone and desktop walls, etc. I’m addicted to the trend too. That’s why I just had to write down these quotes that go through my head in a trendy kind of way. I’m excited to share them with you! We all know those days that seems to drag along and by 5pm we realize accomplished nothing at all. Yeah, those are the most inspired days of our lives (Ha ha! 🙂 ). Accomplishing goals, keeping calm, and staying inspired all at the same time can seem to be the farthest thing from our grasp. No worries! I got your back with a list of easy things that will help you stay motivated with your eyes focused on the important things. Don’t try to do everything at once. not so very consistently posting a “Quote of the Week” post every Saturday. Let’s be honest, I don’t particularly like posting on Saturday, even though Saturday is supposed to be an awesome blogging day (I mean, the whole day is free, right? 😉 ). Somehow this fast approaching holiday (tomorrow!) is going to bring about roses, red and pink, hearts, and fuzzy feelings. It’s such an adorable time, and I’m even single. Yup, I’m not thinking about having a valentine just quite yet – I’m only seventeen, people!
I imagine there’s a lot more of you like me who are single or going to be alone on Valentine’s Day and not quite sure what to do. If this day is all about romance, and I don’t have any in my life, I may as well sit around and binge watch movies (and finish off a bag of those delectable BBQ chips in the cupboard!). While I might do that, I’d love to do something else and I’m sure you want to as well!
Don’t worry! I’ve scraped together a few ideas for you to do. Maybe, just maybe, this Valentine’s Day isn’t going to be so bad after all. In fact, it’s starting to get quite rosy. 🙂

Grab a few roses, light some candles, and run a bath of herbs or your favorite bubbles. Put a few rose petals on the water to add an extra romantic atmosphere.
